For nearly thirty five years, Master Photographer & Film Director, Shawn Frederick has been a working professionally specializing in Corporate Identity, Advertising and Commercial Work.  He is an alumnus (‘91) of the famed, Brooks Institute of Photography and much of his work has been awarded the highest accommodations of his industry. Including from the Belding Awards’ Best of Show, the American Advertising Federation’s Gold & Silver Statues, Gold Awards at Film Festivals around the world as well as being issued numerous Citations of Excellence for his work. Shawn has also created imagery for some of the most well known American commercial advertising brands and Advertising Agencies and continues to be called upon for assignments to this day.

Based on his acute understanding of the 8th Art, Shawn continues to push the technical and artistic boundaries with his craft.  While he is highly adept in film photography, he was also an early adopter of the high end digital platform as well. Something he works with to this day, if the project calls for it.

Travels of Shawn's have taken him around the globe numerous times to locations that include Morocco, Austria, France, Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Hawaii, Alaska, Baja, Mexico, Canada and 40+ states and territories throughout the USA.

Magazines, Calendars, Lithographs and Book publishers of Shawn’s work have included hundreds of features in some of the most respected titles in the print publishing world. Some include Conde Nast, Mens Journal, Rolling Stone, the National Geographic, Smithsonian, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Sports Illustrated, Surfer & Surfing Magazines, Transworld Snowboarding and Snowboarder Magazines, NY, London & LA Times Sunday editions, Simon & Schuster, Tor Books, Harper Collins, Kensington Press, Workman Press amongst quite a few others.
